We work in association with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), another good charity that is responsible for providing support for people affected by chronic kidney disease, offering free health screenings for at-risk individuals, and spreading awareness about the illness. By donating to our charitable organization, you can make an impact in the fight against a chronic disease that currently affects more than 26 million Americans.

Donating to a good charity that supports kidney disease patients is important because:

• In addition to the millions who have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, or CKD, millions more are at risk
• The onset of CKD can lead to other health problems, such as heart disease, anemia, poor nutritional health, anemia, and high blood pressure
• Early detection of CKD can help prevent the progression of the illness and ultimately prevent kidney failure

Donating to our good charity is very simple. We pick up donations directly from houses, apartments, and office buildings throughout the Charlotte Metro and Triad areas. We cover ground in all neighborhoods every six to eight weeks, and we will let you know when we will be in your area ahead of time, so you will have ample time to gather the items you’d like to donate to us and place them where our drivers can see them. If you prefer, you may also bring your charitable donations to any of the Value Village thrift department stores located in Charlotte, Gastonia, Kannapolis, and Mooresville.
