Donate Your Old Computer in Charlotte

Donate Old ComputerDonate your old computer to National Kidney Services (NKS) and you’ll be helping a local charity in our efforts to reduce the prevalence of chronic kidney disease throughout North Carolina. NKS is a Charlotte-based non-profit organization that accepts used electronics, clothes, small appliances, furniture, books, toys, dishes, and household items from residents of Charlotte and the surrounding communities. The proceeds generated from your contributions go directly to the National Kidney Foundation’s efforts to provide free health screenings and increase public awareness about this debilitating illness.

When you donate your old computer or other used electronics, your contribution is tax deductible*. Other benefits of donating include:

  • Clearing clutter from your home or business and making room for new items
  • Reducing the amount of waste you produce by donating these durable goods
  • Making it possible for people who may not be able to afford a new computer to buy a used model

NKS makes it easy for you to donate an old computer or other electronics like DVD players, radios, and stereos by offering complimentary pickup service at your home or place of business. We would also be happy to collect used computers from schools, community centers, churches, and other organizations throughout the Charlotte area. Simply contact us at 704-393-5780 or fill out our online form to sign up for a donation collection in Matthews, Gastonia, Pineville, Kannapolis, Ballantyne, or one of the surrounding areas.
