Donate DVDs & Other Multimedia to a Kidney Disease Charity Serving Columbus, OH & the Surrounding Areas

Donate DVDs ColumbusIs your TV buried under a media center overflowing with old junk? If so, donate those DVDs, CDs, video games, and other electronics that you no longer need to National Kidney Services (NKS). You’ll be getting rid of clutter, reaping tax benefits*, and helping a local charity in the process. By generating proceeds from used items like DVDs, clothes, books, and other used items, we can support various programs aimed at reducing chronic kidney disease in Central Ohio and throughout the nation.

To donate DVDs and other items to our organization, follow the steps below:

  • Contact us by calling 614-351-2900 or filling out our online form to add your name to our call list for standard weekday collections. Special Saturday pickups and expedited pickups are available upon request.
  • Gather the charitable donations you wish to contribute to our kidney charity and pack them in bags or boxes that are clearly labeled with “NKS.” We accept all types of clothing, books, toys, cookware, decorative items, electronics, small furniture, and more.
  • On the evening before your scheduled pickup, put your tax-deductible* donations outside in a dry place where they will be visible from the road. NKS drivers are not permitted to enter your home to collect donations

NKS is proud to work with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) by supporting their worthy initiatives, including the “End the Wait!” organ donation program and the “Love Your Kidneys” campaign to encourage at-risk individuals to get regular health screenings. With the help of NKF and generous donors like you, we believe that we can truly make a difference in the lives of others.

To learn more about how to donate DVDs, CDs, TVs, and other items to our charitable organization, please contact National Kidney Services today.
