Donate Dishes to Our Charity and Receive Free Pickup Service in Charlotte & Beyond

It’s easy to donate dishes to National Kidney Services (NKS) because we offer a complimentary pickup service that operates throughout Charlotte and the surrounding communities. All you need to do is gather donations of dishes, glassware, flatware, or other kitchen and household items, sign up for your free pickup, and we’ll take care of the rest.

NKS is a kidney disease charity located in the Charlotte, NC, area. We are devoted to fighting the battle against chronic kidney disease, which is especially prevalent in the South. With the help of generous donors like you, we can generate proceeds that go directly to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a nonprofit health organization that has made tremendous strides in expanding programs for kidney disease research, prevention, and public education.

You can donate dishes and other used items by adding your name and phone number to our donation pickup call list. Contact us at 704-393-5780 or sign up online, and an NKS representative will contact you periodically to let you know that we are collecting donations in your area and to inquire if you have any items to contribute. Our pickup service operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to dark. Expedited pickups and special Saturday collections are available upon request.

If you would prefer to donate unwanted dishes, cookware, small appliances, electronics, tools, clothing, and other tax-deductible* contributions by dropping them off, simply bring them to any Value Village thrift department store in Charlotte, Gastonia, Kannapolis, or Mooresville.
