Donate Clothes & Household Items in Charlotte, NC to National Kidney Services

If you live in Charlotte, NC, and are looking to donate to a good charity, consider donating to National Kidney Services (NKS). We accept all sorts of items that you can donate, including men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, jewelry, small appliances, electronics, and more. Through your generous donations, we are able to generate proceeds for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and help the fight against kidney disease. Specifically, money is used to raise public awareness about chronic kidney disease, educate people about its causes, and support families affect by the debilitating illness.

When you’re ready to donate to charity in Charlotte, NC, you can choose from any of the following convenient methods:

  • Donate Charlotte NCStandard weekday donation pickups – This service is available throughout North Carolina and in upstate South Carolina. NKS trucks collect tax-deductible* charitable donations Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to dark. Join our call list to receive a phone call every four to six weeks to learn when we plan to be in your area to pick up donations.
  • Expedited donation pickups – This service is designed for those who would like to have their items picked up within one week or less.
  • Saturday donation pickups – Available by special request, you can have your items picked up on a Saturday, so long as you have a large quantity to donate, such as items left unsold from a yard sale, estate sale, or community sale.
  • Donation drop-off locations – You may bring your donation items to any of the various Value Village thrift department stores located in the Charlotte Metro and Triad areas.
