Our Columbus Non Profit Organization Welcomes Your Donations of Used Clothes & Household Goods

National Kidney Services (NKS) is a Columbus non profit organization that collects donations of used clothing and housewares from residents and businesses throughout Columbus and the rest of Central Ohio. The proceeds we generate from these items go directly to the National Kidney Foundation and its efforts to increase awareness about the risk factors of chronic kidney disease. With your help, we believe that we can improve the health of individuals throughout our state and the nation.

Our Columbus non profit is proud to partner with the National Kidney Foundation to fight the battle against kidney disease because  79 cents of every dollar donated to NKF goes directly to supporting programs and services initiated by this charitable organization, including:

• The Love Your Kidneys® campaign, which enhances public awareness about kidney disease and the importance of early detection
• A program called END THE WAIT!®, which educates people about how important it is to become organ donors
• The Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP®), which offers free kidney health screenings and educational literature to at-risk individuals

You can also donate to our Columbus non profit by dropping off your donations at any Ohio Thrift store. All contributions to our charitable organization are tax deductible*, and we welcome a wide variety of used items, including clothes, shoes, handbags, electronics, tools, kitchen utensils, small appliances, decorative items, books, toys, and more.
